Hello Plant Sale Fans!
I hope you all are enjoying watching your gardens come alive this Spring and dreaming about the the 22nd Annual Backyard Plant Sale, April 29 and April 30! I am!
I also hope you will join me on Friday April 29, from 4pm – dark (plant donors can come to the preview at 3pm and purchase up to the number of plants they donate) and Saturday April 30 from 9am – 1pm. The address is 203 Howard Street, Ashland, VA 23005.
If you have plants to donate, you can leave them on my front porch during the week or two before the sale. Those of you coming a long distance can bring your plants with you when you come to the sale. Keep in mind, however, the more I have ahead of time the easier it is for me to get plants tagged and out, and the earlier you dig, the better the plants look!
After the sale at 1pm on Saturday, we will have a short talk by someone very interesting. I do not know who that person is yet, however if you would like to talk, let me know!
After the talk, at about 1:30pm on Saturday April 30, folks who have donated plants to the sale will have the opportunity to take home FREE plants! There is always lots of great stuff left over so I hope you will donate plants to the sale to take advantage of this opportunity.
