Dear Plant Sale Friends:
I have been agonizing over the plant sale this year, trying to decide whether to have it or not, hence my delayed notification. Due to an illness in my family requiring my full time care, I have decided to offer a very scaled down version of the sale which will require little advanced prep on my part.
Lewis Ginter has offered me bulbs and I hate to have them go to waste, so I am planning to pick them up and offer them to you for donations to The Nature Conservancy on May 3, 2014 between 9am and 1pm. And perhaps some of you who are passionate about the sale have some ideas of ways we could offer things or would like to bring some plants to offer that morning — so who knows what will show up!
I’m doing this because I think it will be fun and life-giving on that day, and I will enjoy looking forward to something fun!
